About Verdalyze

Large banks run on internal technology divisions: teams whose whole job is making the deal side faster, safer and less manual. Smaller firms compete against that with Excel, Outlook and manual effort.

Our mission is to help M&A and corporate finance firms spend more time on analysis, relationships and judgement. We build and maintain bespoke systems around how each firm works, so its team spends less time moving information between spreadsheets, documents and inboxes.

We work from London, United Kingdom and Montreal, Quebec, with firms across the UK and Canada, in English and French.

Where we come from

Built and shipped at scale before Verdalyze.

01

Experience in production

Engineering inside a CAC 40 company, a Y Combinator-backed startup and our own software agency, with applied AI experience across industry.

02

A recurring problem

Smaller advisory firms run large mandates through spreadsheets, inboxes and manual document assembly. Institutional technology rarely fits their scale or workflow.

03

A focused engineering team

Verdalyze builds the systems deals move through, shaped around confidential information, deadlines and the way your team works.

Who we are

What we stand by

The principles the work runs on.

A consultancy that builds like a product team. Client work and our own tooling run on the same standards and the same people.

01

We use our own tools

We run our own deal tooling internally, from buyer-list building to document production. Ideas are tested on our own work before they reach a client's firm.

02

Direct to the engineers

You deal with the people writing the code. No account layer, no handover between a sales team and a delivery team, no ticket queue between you and an answer.

03

Built around the firm

We design around how your firm already runs deals rather than forcing anyone onto a template. If a habit works, we build from it instead of replacing it.

04

Honest recommendations

Build, buy or leave alone: every question gets all three options considered honestly. Building is what we sell, so we only recommend it when it is clearly the better option.

05

Security is the starting constraint

Deal work is confidential by definition. We handle client data securely and privately, and agree access, processing and hosting arrangements with each firm. Deployment in your own environment is an option where appropriate.

06

Long-term by design

One build, then a retainer on rolling 4-week terms. We are structured for systems that keep pace with a firm for years, not projects that end at handover.

Working with sensitive information

Built around the way your firm already works.

Your VDR remains the source of truth for shared deal documents. We agree what each system needs to access, where information is processed and how the build fits your firm's existing setup.

Agreed for each engagement.

Your document environment stays yours

We build around the VDR and tools your firm already uses, keeping them as the source of truth for shared deal documents.

Only the context the work needs

Before a build, we agree what information the system uses, who can access it and how it moves between your existing tools.

A deployment agreed together

Hosting and data handling are shaped around the engagement and your firm's requirements, including your own environment where appropriate.
